Welcome To Plathville Season 7 Trailer Revealed As Ethan Plath Finally Confronts Ex Olivia

The Welcome To Plathville season 7 has been released, which teases a confrontation between exes Ethan Plath and Olivia Plath. Relationship drama will be at the center of Welcome To Plathville season 7, as several cast members deal with either new partners or the fallout from divorces. The stunning but inevitable split of Ethan and Olivia will lead the Welcome To Plathville stars to deal with the aftermath and try to pick up the pieces in order to move forward. Kim and Barry are dealing with their own divorce, and Lydia is moving quickly with her boyfriend Zac.

In the just-released Welcome To Plathville season 7 trailer, from TLC, Ethan throws major shade at Olivia when talking about his new girlfriend. “Out of the blue, I found the one the second time around. The absence of drama is amazing. In no situation would I ever want any of that back,” he explains. Later on in the trailer, after Olivia chats with Micah’s girlfriend Veronica about the drama that comes with being a part of the Plath family, Ethan meets up with Olivia and pleads with her to “please stop.” Olivia’s reaction is short and to the point: “No.”

Meanwhile, Micah is dealing with trouble in his own relationship as he realizes he doesn’t want to go down the same path that Ethan followed. “He took Olivia’s side, didn’t talk to my mom or dad. I don’t want anything close to that,” he admits. Veronica herself opens up and says she’s not sure if she wants to be a part of Micah’s family, adding, “I know this will go bad. Mark my words.”

Ethan makes a great observation when he says Veronica believes the family is “out to get her” in the same way Olivia claimed. Ethan then ominously claims that being a part of the Plath family means there’s a “price you pay.”

Does Ethan Want Olivia To Stop Meddling In Family Drama?

Based on the order of events that play out in the Welcome To Plathville season 7 trailer, it appears that Ethan wants to confront Olivia over her chat with Veronica. It would make sense considering he’s telling her to stop whatever it is she’s doing. However, it’s also possible their confrontation is about something completely different that hasn’t even been teased yet.

Olivia knows what it’s like to be a part of the Plath family. The tension and drama just kept ratcheting up the longer she stayed with Ethan. Eventually, it all got to be too much, and Olivia and Ethan weren’t able to make their relationship work. Since Olivia has been through that turmoil, she wants to make sure Veronica knows what to expect if she stays with Micah. In the trailer, when Olivia acknowledges she made a mistake by not warning Veronica sooner, so it appears that her video call is meant to do just that.

However, it’s the much-anticipated confrontation between Ethan and Olivia, seemingly about the latter reaching out to Veronica, that is the most intriguing part of the entire preview. The trailer ends with Olivia rebuffing Ethan’s request to “please stop.” It’ll be very interesting to see how the rest of that conversation plays out. Come July, the Plath family drama will be back in full swing.
