In a confessional back home, he even shared his growing doubts about her questionable behavior. A few weeks before his scheduled flight, she ghosted him out of the blue for days.
When she came back, her questionable behavior raised significant red flags. Moreover, she offered different excuses each time Rick asked a question. In a conversation with his sister, he also recollected how Trisha lost her cool when he brought up her ghosting. Both he and his sister had subsequently deduced that her ex was far more involved in her life than she was letting on.
