The Truth Leaks🔥 “Welcome to Plathville” Family Chaos Too Big To Stay Hidden!

Welcome To Plathville season 7 is using some of the family’s storylines to hide the best drama the show’s had in years, but it’s not working out the way producers likely planned. Throughout Welcome To Plathville season 7, viewers have watched as the Plath family gears up for Lydia Plath’s quick wedding to her new love, Zac Wyse, despite backlash.

While Zac and Lydia’s nuptials are coming quickly, the couple haven’t been entirely accepted by the Plath family, at least in some areas. As Moriah Plath and Micah Plath deal with their own issues, other siblings like Ethan Plath and Isaac Plath have been underwhelmed with the idea of Lydia getting married to someone they don’t know too quickly for proper introductions.

Instead of being upfront about the drama happening within the family, however, Welcome To Plathville has stayed focused on the wedding itself. As Micah and his girlfriend, Veronica Peters, have been going through a tough time in the background, Welcome To Plathville’s foreground has remained steadfast in watching the lackluster drama surrounding Lydia’s wedding, ignoring the intense issues the others are dealing with.

Welcome To Plathville Is Hyper Focused On Lydia’s Wedding

Her Milestone Could Be A Series Turning Point

Welcome To Plathville season 7 has heavily focused on Lydia’s wedding to Zac thus far, and while it’s a sweet milestone for the family, it’s surprising to see so much time devoted to the event. While Lydia and Zac’s relationship has consistently made headlines for their unwavering faith, which pushed them to delay their first kiss to their wedding day, the wedding is filler.

While Lydia and Zac’s relationship is sweet, the drama surrounding it and the wedding itself are minimal. With the entire family in a flurry as the wedding planning goes along, it’s clear that Welcome To Plathville is focused on the nuptials for a reason. Unfortunately, that reason isn’t because it’s important to the narrative or contributing to the overall drama.

Veronica & Micah’s Drama Isn’t Being Addressed In Detail

They’re Shown Having Strange, Vague Fights

Although viewers have gotten a look at the issues between Veronica and Micah, who have been struggling all season long after Veronica felt Micah’s family treated her poorly, it’s been clear that there’s a lot more to the story than what’s been shown. Thus far, Micah has consistently struggled to see where Veronica’s coming from about her issues with his family, specifically his father Barry Plath.

Barry’s poor treatment of Veronica along with Moriah’s non-apology for her poor behavior has pushed Veronica to feel uncomfortable with the Plaths, but there’s far more than she’s letting on when she’s talking to Micah on screen about the issues. Veronica’s tone, which seems harsh and, at times, belittling, can be tough to watch or support, making it obvious there’s more drama afoot.

Although Veronica has been upfront about Micah’s behavior being difficult, it’s clear that there are bigger issues in the couple’s relationship than his allegiance to his family and the way they treat her in general. Micah and Veronica have opened up about their problems in the past, but don’t seem as willing to divulge them within the current Plathville season.

From Veronica’s past posts online, it’s become clear to Welcome To Plathville fans that Micah was likely cheating on his girlfriend throughout the filming of the season, which led to even larger issues and an eventual breakup. While the show is focusing on the wedding between Lydia and Zac, the real drama for Welcome To Plathville’s central family appears to be happening just off-camera.

Welcome To Plathville airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. EDT on TLC.
