Survivor 50′ cast members vote snubbed players onto the island and explain why certain people that didn’t make the final cut should have been there

With a whopping 24 people vying for the title, Survivor 50 is the reality franchise’s biggest season ever. How they are going to eliminate 21 players in 25 days before ending up with a final three is anyone’s guess. (Not through a final four fire-making, hopefully!)

And yet, even with 24 players, there is still a plethora of worthy former contestants who did not make the cut for season 50. Fans have been arguing ever since the cast was first announced in May of 2025 about the players they feel should have been on the final list. But what about the season 50 players themselves? What do they think?

While in Fiji for filming on Survivor 50 (which premieres Feb. 25 on CBS), Entertainment Weekly asked each of the cast members to vote one deserving person that wasn’t there onto the island. Who are the former all-stars that the cast would have put on Survivor 50 had they been in the casting chair? Check out their votes below as well a video for each explaining their decision.
