Survivor 49: Today’s Elimination Finally Revealed!

The latest player to be eliminated from “Survivor” and the third person to join the jury, has revealed that he has no regrets about his “messy” gameplay and is confident in the way he played. The reality television competitor was speaking following his elimination from season 49 and confirmed that he wouldn’t do anything differently.

Alex Moore Has No Regrets About ‘Messy’ Gameplay

Following his elimination from this season of “Survivor,” Moore was asked by Entertainment Weekly about the fact that many of the other players in the series had described his gameplay as “messy” and felt he wasn’t playing in a strategic way. Moore responded, saying, “Yeah, I completely hear what you’re saying. I think that the big thing here was that I was friends with everyone.”

The former political advisor went on to say that other players probably thought negatively of his approach because he refused to pick sides and remained open to everyone. “I think messy meant that I didn’t stick to Hina or Uli,” Moore explained. “It meant that I was friends with everyone. I’d go on the beach and I’d talk with everyone. Everyone wanted to include me in their conversations.”

In the latest episode of “Survivor,” Moore was targeted by Rizo Velovic as a way of drawing heat away from himself and his immunity idol. Velovic managed to convince his fellow castaways to vote Moore off by arguing that he had been playing both sides and wasn’t trustworthy. It’s a strategy that Moore had purposely decided upon, sticking to the middle to give him the ability to adapt in different circumstances, although it ultimately worked against him.

He went on to detail how Velovic used things that Moore said against him, playing him off as someone who was attempting to play both sides. “I remember on the Nate vote, it was very much so where I was like, ‘Well, do you trust Jawan and Sage?’ And that was my way of kind of being like: They’re not voting with you and I know that. And so basically Rizo took that and spun it,” said Moore.

“And every little thing that I’d say, like, ‘Sophie Segreti is great at competitions. We need to keep an eye on her.’ he’d be like, ‘Alex wants to get you out.’

“So basically, all of this was just me having friendships with everyone. My playing both sides was having friendships with everyone, and basically Rizo used this as an opportunity to spin, spin, spin and get in people’s heads.”

Alex Moore Is Happy With How He Approaches ‘Survivor’

Despite his elimination and the way in which Velovic was able to manipulate the other competitors against him, Moore doesn’t have any regrets with his approach to the game. “I’m very confident in the way I played,” he revealed.

“I think it was more so the people around me who kind of screwed me over. But if there’s one thing that I could have gone back and done, should I have given more thought to potentially keeping Nate around and being on the bottom?”

“Knowing Jawan and Sage were going to vote out Nate, that was ultimately a group that I think I could have worked with, and maybe I should have sacrificed voting with them and maybe the game would’ve turned out completely different with me on that vote.”
