Sister Wives: Meri & Janelle FURIOUS As Kody Brown Takes All The Credit — “We Did The Work, Not You!”

Sister Wives star Kody Brown is once again in the hot seat, this time over his claims about handling the sale of the family’s Coyote Pass property all by himself. In the latest episode, Kody appeared confident as he declared that he had done all the work regarding the long-delayed land sale, leaving fans and his ex-wives stunned. However, former sister wives, Meri and Janelle, weren’t having it.

Both challenged in a separate confessional what Kody had to say. They even called out his exaggerations and set the record straight. Sister Wives: Kody Gets The Cold Shoulder From His Ex-Wives

On last week’s Sister Wives episode, Kody’s awkward reunion with Meri and Janelle over Zoom made some news. The three cast members joined a call to discuss the ongoing dispute over their Coyote Pass property. Kody started the conversation, but his attempts at small talk fell flat, as Meri and Janelle offered one-word answers. Kody even joked about her dog making an appearance, but she remained distant.

Meanwhile, Janelle’s responses were equally reserved. Kody tried to lighten the mood by asking if she had heard any “good jokes lately.” To which, she quickly replied, “No, I live with children, they don’t tell very funny jokes.”

Sister Wives: Meri & Janelle Call Out Kody’s Claims About Coyote Pass

In the latest Sister Wives episode, tensions rose when the discussion turned serious. Kody claimed he had done all the work to prepare the Coyote Pass property for sale, including cleaning up and managing the paperwork. He even suggested that his former wives hadn’t lifted a finger to help. “They’ve expected me to do the work, clean it up, get it sold, and get the deeds swapped out,” Kody said. “They haven’t done anything to help that,” he added.

That comment didn’t sit well with his exes. Janelle Brown was quick to correct him, explaining that she had offered to hire help for the cleanup and even volunteered to have her lawyer prepare the necessary documents. “I’ve done everything I can,” she said firmly. “I don’t have any legal ability to work on it, or I would have. Trust me, I would have,” she added.

Meri also pointed out that she legally couldn’t make any changes to the property since her name wasn’t on the deed. “I don’t own the property,” she clarified. “I cannot legally make any changes to it,” she added. Both women emphasized that they wanted the deal finalized just as much as Kody did. Meri described the whole situation as “awkward and uncomfortable.” Janelle, on the other hand, viewed it as part of the natural evolution of their shared past.

Kody, on the other hand, seemed to take a more self-centered approach. “All they’ve done is complain about me not doing it,” he said, adding that they even questioned whether he was trying to “rob” them. By the end of the episode, Janelle expressed relief that progress was finally being made on the sale. “2025 might be the year we get this done,” she concluded.
