A Reddit group devoted to the TLC series shared their thoughts about Robyn Brown, Kody Brown‘s legal wife. After years of living in polygamy, Robyn is now Kody’s only wife, and while viewers speculate she’s gotten what she’s wanted all along, she’s unhappy.
The poster wrote, “I think Robyn’s bubble has burst. Kody isn’t this hard-working, religious, funny, handsome father of the year.”
Other viewers appear to be in agreement. “She liked being the queen bee. Now that the other wives are all gone, she’s lost interest,” wrote one fan.

“She has made clear that ‘this’ isn’t what she signed up for. She has said that she feels left behind,” claimed a second viewer.
A third Redditor wrote, “There is definitely something going on between them that wasn’t there in past seasons. His insecurity that she doesn’t value him/want him is clearly founded in reality. She seems so disinterested and almost icked out. She was NEVER like that in the past.”
Are Robyn and Kody Brown struggling in their marriage?
During Season 19, Kody Brown told TLC’s cameras that he felt he was struggling in his marriage to Robyn Brown. He blamed the stress of Christine, Meri, and Janelle Brown leaving him as the on-camera reason.
“It goes through your mind once in a while, ‘Hey, do these divorces devalue me to her? I’ve been left. Do you still want me the same way?’” Kody said, as reported by E! News. “As they left, they stole some of my confidence, and I just, I’m vulnerable and I’m a fool.”
“We’re probably doing the worst we’ve ever done in our marriage,” Robyn told TLC’s cameras during Season 19. “It’s been tough between us. He doesn’t know who to blame, himself or one of the other wives. Kody’s feeling a lot of rejection, and so I think he’s kind of looking at me going, ‘Are you going to reject me too?’”
She added, “I’m on my toes. I’m having to consistently make sure that he is not sabotaging our relationship. There’s no resource to help with the idea that I’m married to a man who’s gone through divorces.”
“They’re all moving on,” Robyn concluded of Christine, Janelle, and Meri. “I feel like the idiot that got left behind.”
To try and escape from the past, the couple sold their first Flagstaff, Arizona home and purchased a larger, more expensive home in late 2024. The move and their commentary regarding why they felt the urge to relocate are being covered during Sister Wives Season 20.
