Sister Wives: David Wasn’t Happy When Kody Admitted To Loving Her During Nevada Meeting
Many saw old wounds reopen when Sister Wives star Kody traveled to Nevada to meet Christine face-to-face. Christine wasn’t alone when she attended the meeting. She brought her husband, David Woolley, with her. The meeting started off well enough as Kody apologized for his past behavior when he was married to Christine. However, things started going downhill when Kody admitted that he loved Christine in the past. This surprised everyone present in the room, especially since Kody previously stated that he never loved his ex-wives.
David didn’t say much at the time and advised Kody to focus on his children rather than trying to fix his relationships with ex-wives. After the meeting, Christine admitted that she found that comment strange. She felt it was inappropriate for Kody to talk about past love in front of her current husband. Christine revealed that she had moved on and built a new life with David. And acknowledged that the comment probably put David in an uncomfortable place.
Sister Wives: David Calls Out Kody For Crossing A Line & Violating Bro Code
Sister Wives Tell-All Part 2 gave David Woolley the place to share how he truly felt about the whole thing. David admitted the conversation left him angry and confused. He said Kody’s words violated the basic “bro code” that guys have. Although he didn’t say anything at the time, David felt the conversation stayed with him well after they got back home.

David didn’t like the fact that Kody told Christine he loved her in front of her husband. He made it clear that Christine and Kody have been separated for years and that they should no longer talk about such things. According to David, Kody only addressed issues that mattered to him and not to Christine. David said he later invited Kody to go off-roading in Moab as a test, as he wanted to understand Kody’s intentions.
From his point of view, Kody’s apology tour wasn’t about reconciliation at all, and he just wanted to satisfy his ego. Kody was later asked about the whole thing by the host Suki Krishnan. Kody admitted that David’s presence made it harder for him to talk with Christine. Despite this, he felt David meant well and was a “guy’s guy.”
