Sister Wives: Christine’s Husband David Says Kody’s Love Confession Was Bull$hit!

Sister Wives has showcased the lives of the Brown family, even though most of them no longer live together. While Christine moved on from Kody and married David, they had to face each other various times recently. But David felt a certain way when Kody made an emotional confession during his apology tour. Kody told Christine that he loved her during their marriage in front of David.
While David stayed quiet during that time, he is now confessing that the moment was very awkward for him. He felt the timing was inappropriate, as David was sitting right there. Was Kody being honest, or was there another motive behind his words? And why did David feel the need to finally speak up now? Keep on reading to know more.

Sister Wives: Kody’s Apology Lunch Left David Unconvinced About The Whole Thing
Tension grew back in the December 15 episode, when Kody traveled to Nevada to meet Christine face-to-face. Christine came to the meeting with her husband, David Woolley. Kody apologized and then admitted he did love Christine, despite previously saying he never loved his ex-wives. At the time, David didn’t react much to the whole thing. He just gave Kody some advice and asked him to focus on his children instead of his ex-wife.
However, Kody later revealed that he did not like that advice. In part two of the Sister Wives: One-On-One special, Kody said he was not interested in receiving guidance from David. He felt that being in a plural marriage teaches humility. According to him, David did not understand that lesson. Kody described David as likable but suggested that David thought he understood him better than he actually did.
Sister Wives: David Slams Kody’s ‘Love’ Claim As Disrespectful
More revelations have come to light as the Sister Wives: One-On-One special has released additional episodes. David finally shared how Kody’s confession made him feel during the Season 20 reunion. David admitted he was confused by David’s words. He recalled thinking, “Why in the hell am I here?” as Kody spoke about loving Christine. David made it clear that he felt Kody crossed a line.

He called “bulls*it” on Kody’s statement and felt he wasn’t respecting his relationship with Christine. According to David, there is a “bro code” that should apply in such situations. He said that telling an ex-wife you loved her, in front of her current husband, is wrong. He later invited Kody to go off-roading in Moab and claimed that he did so to test Kody. David wanted to see if Kody really wanted to move forward as part of a blended family.
Instead, David felt all the talk was just focused on Kody. He accused Kody of focusing on what he wanted rather than what was best for Christine or the family. David said that Kody’s apology tour wasn’t genuine. It didn’t really focus on all the parties healing or building respect towards each other.
