In an Instagram post, Katie shared a series of messages expressing how bad 2026 has been. According to the Bringing Up Bates star, it’s been incredibly painful for her and her family. Katie then mentions her marital issues with Travis. She revealed that she will be focusing more on her children, their future, and self-healing.
Katie then revealed that Travis decided to go public about what he did, and she fully supported his transparency. She added that they’re now working on their marriage privately, shutting down speculations that the two will file for divorce. Katie continued, “Because this is so deeply personal and there is still so much to work through, I sincerely ask for privacy. I also ask for your understanding that I may not be able to receive or respond to advice or opinions, even when they are well-intended.”
Katie went on to say that she’ll still be committed to social media, as it’s one of her ways of living. She prays for strength and is thankful for all the support and prayers from fans. Gil and Kelly Jo have also remained silent about the couple’s struggles, showing that they’re willing to give them privacy despite how ugly their situation got.
