CBS announces the list of the first contestants eliminated in each season of the show ‘Survivor’
On “Survivor,” the dream is to outwit, outplay, and outlast. However, that journey ends almost as soon as it begins for one castaway each season. From challenge flops and playing too hard to medical evacuations and shocking twists, the first boot often sets the tone for everything that follows. We are looking back at every season of “Survivor” and the first castaway voted off that season. It’s a fun dive back into “Survivor” history.
Seasons 1-12
CBS- Sonja Christopher (“Survivor: Borneo”)
- Debb Eaton (“Survivor: The Australian Outback”) – She tried to take control of her tribe early, but they said no thanks!
- Diane Ogden (“Survivor: Africa”)
- Peter Harkey (“Survivor: Marquesas”)
CBS- John Raymond (“Survivor: Thailand”)
- Ryan Aiken (“Survivor: The Amazon”)
- Nicole Delma (“Survivor: Pearl Islands”)
- Tina Wesson (“Survivor: All-Stars”) – Tina won “Australian Outback,” so the castaways voted her off first for “All-Stars.”
CBS- Brook Geraghty (“Survivor: Vanuatu”)
- Jolanda Jones (“Survivor: Palau”)
- Jim Lynch (“Survivor: Guatemala”) – Jim was 63 years old, and then had to hike 11 miles to the beach in the Guatemalan heat, so he was done before it even started.
- Tina Scheer (“Survivor: Panama — Exile Island”)
‘Survivor’ Seasons 13-24
CBS- Sekou Bunch (“Survivor: Cook Islands”)
- Jessica deBen (“Survivor: Fiji”)
- Steve “Chicken” Morris (“Survivor: China”) – How could a chicken not win the game?
- Jonny Fairplay (“Survivor: Micronesia — Fans vs. Favorites”) – Jonny was supposed to be banned from the show, but they brought him back for this one. However, he asked his tribe to vote him out first since he missed his pregnant girlfriend back home.
CBS- Michelle Chase (“Survivor: Gabon”)
- Carolina Eastwood (“Survivor: Tocantins”)
- Marisa Calihan (“Survivor: Samoa”) – She saw through Russell Hantz’s lies, but didn’t see through getting voted off first.
- Jessica “Sugar” Kiper (“Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains”)
CBS- Wendy Jo DeSmidt-Kohlhoff (“Survivor: Nicaragua”)
- Francesca Hogi (“Survivor: Redemption Island”) – The first time you will see Francesca on the list.
- Semhar Tadesse (“Survivor: South Pacific”)
- Kourtney Moon (“Survivor: One World”)
Seasons 25-36
CBS- Zane Knight (“Survivor: Philippines”)
- Francesca Hogi (“Survivor: Caramoan — Fans vs. Favorites”) – And she made it again. Yes, she was on the show twice and her tribe mates voted her off first both times!
- Rupert Boneham (“Survivor: Blood vs. Water”) – Rupert’s wife was voted off, but he sacrificed himself for her. He went to Redemption Island, but lost there and never returned to the game.
- David Samson (“Survivor: Cagayan”)
CBS- Nadiya Anderson (“Survivor: San Juan del Sur”) – Nadiya was voted off first, but then her twin sister, Natalie Anderson, won the season!
- So Kim (“Survivor: Worlds Apart”)
- Vytas Baskauskas (“Survivor: Cambodia — Second Chance”)
- Darnell Hamilton (“Survivor: Kaôh Rōng”) – He’s known for taking the biggest aqua dump, nicknamed the “brown trout.”
CBS- Rachel Ako (“Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X”)
- Ciera Eastin (“Survivor: Game Changers”) – Can’t be upset being voted out first with the set of players on this season.
- Katrina Radke (“Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers”)
- Stephanie Gonzalez (“Survivor: Ghost Island”)
‘Survivor’ Seasons 37 – 50
CBS- Pat Cusack (“Survivor: David vs. Goliath”)
- Reem Daly (“Survivor: Edge of Extinction”)
- Ronnie Bardah (“Survivor: Island of the Idols”)
- Natalie Anderson (“Survivor: Winners at War”) – Natalie was back and voted out first. However, she went to Edge of Extinction, made her way back into the game, and reached the final. She got four votes but lost to Tony Vlachos.
CBS- Eric Abraham (“Survivor 41”)
- Jackson Fox (“Survivor 42”) – Jackson was medically evacuated on Day 3 because of dehydration and lithium withdrawal.
- Zach Wurtenberger (“Survivor 42”) – That same day Jackson left, Zach was voted out at Tribal.
- Morriah Young (“Survivor 43”)
CBS- Bruce Perreault (“Survivor 44”) – Bruce hurt himself during the marooning challenge and would be medically evacuated later that day.
- Maddy Pomilla (“Survivor 44”) – Maddy made it to the first Tribal Council, so she technically was the first person voted out of season 44.
- Hannah Rose (“Survivor 45”)
- David Jelinsky (“Survivor 46”)
CBS- Jon Lovett (“Survivor 47”) – A celebrity podcaster on the show? Not for long!
- Stephanie Berger (“Survivor 48”)
- Nicole Mazullo (“Survivor 49”)
- Jenna Lewis-Dougherty (“Survivor 50”) – She was on season 1, and came back for the milestone season 50, and was the first one voted out!
