Boston Rob’s Family Vacation Turns Terrifying as His 14-Year-Old Daughter Is Rushed to a Mexican Hospital!
His daughter had some kind of allergic reaction.
Rob Mariano, aka Boston Rob of Survivor fame, had to take his 14-year-old daughter to the hospital while on vacation with his family in Mexico.
On June 16, the reality television star explained that his daughter Carina “got poked by this plant yesterday on the golf course…long story short we ended up in the hospital last night,”
“She had a pretty severe reaction to the plant and was in a lot of pain. The doctors did an ultrasound to look for the spine, but instead found an abundance of fluid inside her knee near where the plant pricked her and prescribed some antibiotics and anti-inflammatories,” he added.
Thankfully, Carina is feeling much better — and the “culprit” plant has been identified as El Datilillo aka “The Spanish Dagger.”
Mariano, his wife, Amber, and their four daughters Lucia, 15, Carina, Isabetta, 13, and Adelina, 10, were staying at the Hilton Los Cabos in Cabos San Lucas. It’s unclear where Carina came in contact with the plant.
Everything appeared to be back to normal as of June 17 when Mariano posted a fun internet trend that he did with his family.
“All #mygirls living their best lives this week @hiltonloscabos ….which one do you identify with the most?!?” he captioned the post. The whole family appeared in the video, which was filmed at various times throughout their vacation.
