‘Big Brother’ & ‘Amazing Race’ Champion Wants to Take on ‘Survivor’ Next

After crossing the finish line of “The Amazing Race” Season 38 in first place earlier this month, Jagateshwar “Jag” Bains officially became a two-time CBS reality competition series champion.

Jag, who took on the race around the world alongside his brother Jasmair “Jas” Bains, padded out his reality TV resume – and added the show’s hefty $1 million prize to his bank account – after emerging victorious from Season 25 of “Big Brother” in 2023.

Now, after dominating two-thirds of CBS’s reality competition trifecta, Jag is setting his sights on completing the set by competing on – and winning – “Survivor” next.

Jag Bains Says He’d ‘Absolutely be Down’ to Play ‘Survivor’

“I can’t let the fans down!” Jag told TV Insider after celebrating his recent “TAR” victory. “I would absolutely be down ‘Survivor.’ That’s the next one. Let me just say this, I didn’t expect to win ‘Big Brother,’ and I won ‘Big Brother.’ We didn’t expect to win ‘Amazing Race,’ and we won ‘Amazing Race.’ I’m not a mathematician, but…you can look at the data yourself!”

Jag added that it would be an “honor” to compete on “Survivor.”

“And obviously I’m going to do everything I can to pull out the W,” he continued.

His brother, Jas, added that he would love to see Jag bring more representation of their Punjabi Sikh culture to yet another competition series – especially one as prolific as “Survivor.”

“We are the first in those spaces,” said Jas. “It’s about representation. To be able to be on these platforms and have that representation, for people to be able to see us or see him and be like, whoa, I’ve never seen someone that looks like me, us, or whatever it is… there is a bigger reason behind this for why we’re doing what we’re doing.”

Will Jag Beat Rachel Reilly to be the First to Complete the CBS Trifecta?

Jag is the second CBS reality star to express interest in becoming the first contestant to compete on all three of the network’s major competition series after “Big Brother” champion Rachel Reilly revealed that she would be applying for a future “Survivor” season earlier this year.

While Reilly has never won “The Amazing Race,” she has appeared on the series three times – and made it to the finale twice – since winning “Big Brother” Season 13 in 2011.

Given the fact that Jag only recently wrapped filming on “The Amazing Race,” it remains unlikely that he would be able to appear on “Survivor” – even if he made it through the show’s intense casting process – until its as-yet-unannounced 53rd season.

Reilly, on the other hand, confirmed on her Instagram Stories that she’s already submitted her application to be considered for the casts of both Seasons 51 and 52, which are set to begin filming in Fiji this Spring.
