“Disgusting & Offensive” — Anna Duggar’s Dad Under Fire After Racist Remarks Go Viral!

Anna’s father, Mike Keller, isn’t so great either, as a video recently surfaced of him spewing racist ideologies, referring to enslavers as “good people on the plantations.” 19 Kids and Counting’s Anna Duggar may not have caused a storm of social media backlash, but her father certainly has. Following a video of him somehow comparing Black Americans and slavery to the January 6 Capitol attack, many have laid out the alarming issues of what was said. On Twitter, user @SweetSinnndy, quoted the clip, stating, “This is sick.” Another fan found it just as unsettling, replying, “It is far worse than sick.”
TikTok also features an array of criticism, where @cathaydstrategist re-shared a portion of the sermon. Users took to the comment section, many in agreement over Mike’s frequent reference to “the blacks.” Others chimed in to dub him “delusional.”
Everything To Know About Anna Duggar’s Dad
It’s unfortunate not only to see what Mike believes factual of American history and Black Americans, but also the reality of Anna’s surrounding family members. A man with dangerous beliefs raised her, and now she’s married to someone else who was found guilty of egregious sex crimes. Anna’s cousin, Amy Duggar King, has tried to assist her, knowing that life has to be hard for her. However, she revealed she had exhausted attempts to extend her support, and Anna continuously refused to acknowledge Amy.
Anna’s husband is usually the one in the headlines, but now her dad Mike has taken over in his absence. Mike’s speech was outrageous, and seeing so many fans have passionately negative commentary to add isn’t shocking. Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets didn’t touch heavily upon how Anna is doing, considering the harsh circumstances of Josh’s sentencing back in 2021. This recently surfaced video of her father doesn’t make those concerned feel much better.
