Bear Brown Forced To Apologize After Extreme Prank TERRIFIES Fans — Alaskan Bush People Backlash!

Alaskan Bush People star Bear Brown issued an apology after an “extreme” April Fools’ Day prank left fans seriously concerned.

On April 2, Brown took to Instagram with an apology video clearing up that he was in good health after pretending to have cut off a finger.

“So I am going to get a little bit of hate for this, and I apologize,” he said in the clip. “When I cut my finger yesterday, it was actually an April Fools’ prank.”

Brown added, “I know that some people don’t find it funny, some people do find it funny,” he acknowledged. “It’s hard for me to resist April 1, guys.”

For the followers who were legitimately worried for the Discovery Channel star, Brown thanked them for “all of the well wishes and everything.”

“I really, really appreciate it guys,” he said. “…One of these days, you guys will learn if it’s on April 1, you probably can’t believe it.”

In an April 1 video shared on Instagram, a grimacing Brown told followers that he was on his way to the ER after an accident.

“I got some really bad news, headed to the hospital right now,” he said in the video. “I was chopping some wood…and I accidentally missed and I got my finger, I got the tip of it.”

He added, “I got it on some ice and stuff. I hear that they can reattach them. So I got it all bandaged up right now.”

After Brown revealed his prank, Instagram users were divided in their reactions. Some claimed they knew immediately that it was a joke, with one writing, “I think it was good but I knew better! No one would post if their fingers were cut off and not go straight to er! 😂.”

“It’s ok. I knew right away it was April fools 😁,” another fan shared.

However, others were taken aback and a bit upset.

One fan scolded Brown, writing, “NEVER lie or joke about health, illness etc.!!! Many like myself had your back, that you were telling the truth and not using your cut finger as an April Fool’s joke. It’s not a joke at anytime to lie about something so serious. 🤔.”

Someone else echoed, “So many things you can do on april fools. Faking serious injury isn’t when close to being one. Once you’re out of elementary school especially.”

Another agreed, writing, “Love jokes but that was bad,” while a different Instagram user pointed out, “Your [sic] so extreme!”
