🚨 Alaskan Bush People SHOCKER: Raiven Breaks Down After Fans ATTACK Her Baby’s Health!

Defending her family. Alaskan Bush People star Raiven Adams is speaking out against “rude and insensitive” online comments made about her and Bear Brown’s son, Cove, who was born earlier this year with premature infant lung disease.
“I am not asking for medical advice or theories on my son’s health. If you comment things like that, I’ll either delete them or block you,” Raiven, now 23, wrote in an Instagram comment shortly after Cove’s birth, in late January 2025, where she also introduced his full name: Cove Gabriel Caden Brown.
Although Raiven clarified that she wasn’t trying to come off as “rude,” she expressed frustration over the insensitive remarks she received regarding Cove’s condition.
“Cove has a medical team that are great at their jobs. He’s doing amazing, and that’s what he needs,” she added. “Not people online arguing over it.”

Cove’s Birth and NICU Journey
Cove was born on January 20, 2025, and was admitted to the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) due to complications from his lung condition. Raiven shared that she was initially hopeful for a “short stay” and thankful that her baby boy was already showing signs of improvement.
Just five days after his birth, on January 25, Raiven shared an encouraging update: Cove had been taken off oxygen, and his condition was continuing to stabilize.
“Being born at 38 weeks and having this isn’t as common, but unfortunately, he is one of those cases,” she explained, referencing his diagnosis. “I can’t wait to have both my boys at home. River being premature with his complications—like placental abruption—wasn’t surprising. But Cove being full-term and having something random like this happen? That’s frustrating. I was so excited and proud to have made it to full term.”
Raiven ended her post by thanking fans for their support:
“Thank you for all the prayers and kind words. We are so very blessed and won’t ever forget it.”
A History of Difficult Births
Raiven and Bear, now 35, are also parents to son River, born in March 2020. River’s birth was also difficult, and Raiven’s grandmother Kassy Michelle previously shared with In Touch Weekly that Raiven had “literally risked her life” to deliver her first child.
Bear Brown’s Emotional Tribute to Late Father After Cove’s Birth
Bear also opened up about Cove’s birth in an emotional Instagram post on January 24, 2025, saying he believed his late father, Billy Brown—who passed away in February 2021—was watching over them.
“On my way back from the NICU, I saw this in the hospital!” Bear wrote, alongside a photo of a toolbox with “Billy B” and a yellow cross spray-painted on the front. He added a face-with-tears emoji to show the emotional weight of the moment.
Days after the birth, on Sunday, January 22, Bear posted another tribute—this time for Raiven, expressing admiration for her strength during labor:
“Raiven did an amazing job! I don’t think a man can ever truly realize what a woman goes through! Sure, we know it’s hard, but we can never fully grasp the difficulties that every mother has been through! I could NOT be more proud of Raiven! She is so strong, so brave, and so unstoppable!!! The strength of a mother is amazing! Thank you, Raiven! You are the best!”
