She has started an organization named “Seattle Iconic 5K for Ovarian Cancer Awareness.” The celeb encouraged people to come to Seattle’s breathtaking Seward Park to raise awareness.
The poster asked the audience to fund critical research for ovarian cancer and discussed how even a small step would bring them closer to a cure for this disease. It further stated, “Funds raised will support the next round of OCRA’s Rivkin Pilot Grants.” This initiative has been undertaken in collaboration with the Rivkin Family SummeRUN.
But that’s not all. Fans were in shock when they learned that Liz’s daughter was actually involved in the matter. She revealed that her girl was the one who chose the name of the organization. Apparently, fans were really proud of the fact that not only Liz but her daughter as well was working for this cause.
