Following a brief period of confusion about the show’s cancellation news, TLC announced that it is set to air new episodes starting July 22, 2025, at 10:00 p.m. ET/9:00 p.m. CT. Although the total number of episodes has yet to be confirmed, it is expected to follow a similar pattern to Season 6. The new season is likely to conclude with the 12th episode. The official cast list includes old familiar faces and new family members.

With TLC releasing the trailer for Welcome To Plathville Season 7, several things became prominent. Veronica and Micah’s relationship is visibly on the rocks due to his family’s wrath on her. She didn’t follow Olivia’s advice on how a conservative lifestyle works for the Plaths and not for outsiders. While the couple is modern, they are deprived of certain privileges.
Veronica will utter disappointment, saying she thinks it’s over for her and Micah, which is equivalent to Ethan and Olivia’s marriage rift. According to Ethan, Veronica, and Olivia were behaving in the same way because they all questioned Plath’s intentions. Veronica deeply felt that she needed to cut off ties with them as soon as possible because the pitfall was growing deeper.
Then again, Veronica and Moriah’s ideal friendship weakened, which is a recurring theme. Moriah and Olivia had faced similar problems in the past, having invited trouble together. Of course, the Plath kids are all adults, so they brought a potential partner along with them for the celebration.
