Parents Jim Bob and wife Michelle quickly began to lose control of some of their kids. The children grew tired of following his strict family rules.

Jim Bob’s list of Duggar rules states the daughters cannot wear clothing that reveals their legs. Or anything their father feels exposes too much skin.

When they begin courting, they must always be in the presence of a chaperone. And birth control is a big no-no. That explains why his wife had so very many children — 19 in all.

Jim Bob’s Controlling Ways

19 Kids and Counting patriarch Jim Bob likes to control how his children conduct themselves — and even how they dress themselves. Their daughters must wear dresses. Social media accounts, tattoos, body piercings are a no as well.

However, it seems they’ve relented on this last as many of the kids now are online, as are Michelle and Jim Bob who run a family account. They can only watch television shows or films with parental approval.

At the same time, other Duggar family kids started drinking, listening to popular music and TV programs, etc. Their father is reportedly unhappy about the changes that some of their kids made. 19 Kids and Counting is a handful it seems.
