Alaskan Bush People star Ami Brown just announced exciting family news on social media.
On Saturday, Feb. 21, the Brown family matriarch, 62, took to Instagram with a birth announcement on behalf of her daughter, Rain Brown, 23.
“My baby girl, Rain, is having a baby!!!” Ami declared, “Grandbaby Number Eleven, Coming Soon!”
In the featured image, the doting mom shared a sonogram labeled “Baby’s First Pic!” The information in the sonogram revealed that Rain was 11 weeks and 2 days along in her pregnancy on Feb. 3—which would put her at 40 weeks (a likely due date) on Aug. 23.
Rain—whose full name is Merry Christmas Kathryn Raindrop Brown—is the youngest of Ami and her late husband Billy Brown‘s seven children. They also share Matt, Joshua (“Bam Bam”), Solomon (“Bear”), Gabriel, Noah, and Amora (“Snowbird”).
In the comments, Ami’s followers flooded her with congratulatory messages. One Instagram user exclaimed, “Wow congratulations that’s fab news for everyone 🩷💙.”
Another wrote, “Wait.. number 11??? What did I miss.”
Someone else shared, “So Exciting Congratulations 🙌🙌🙌🙌❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
A different follower commented, “Congratulations to you, Rain and your entire family. 💕🤗🎉.”
Meanwhile, yet another fan wrote, “I’m so excited for Rainy!! Good luck 💓 and best wishes.”
Rain’s pregnancy news came less than a year after she and her husband, Josiah Lorton, were arrested. On April 11, she was charged with first-degree burglary, first-degree malicious mischief and second-degree criminal trespass, while Lorton was charged with first-degree burglary and first-degree malicious mischief. They were booked into the Okanogan County jail in Washington State and released on April 14.
