Sister Wives: Meri & Kody Reveal Where The Money From Their Las Vegas Home Went After Legal Divorce!

TLC: KODY AND MERI

Sister Wives stars Meri and Kody finally opened up about the whereabouts of the money they got from the Vegas house sale post-divorce. While the Brown family moved to a custom-built cul-de-sac in 2013, giving Kody’s wives their separate mansion, he sold it in mid-2018. He decided to relocate to Arizona. Fans are currently questioning the financial decisions made by the Brown family.

Meri is very upfront about what she doesn’t like. This primarily included their move from Vegas to Flagstaff. But they were struggling so much with finances that they forced themselves to move, along with a few of their children. With TLC reducing the show’s budget and giving the cast not-so-steady paychecks to maintain their lifestyle, Meri fought with Kody. Where did the property money go?

Sister Wives: Vegas House Sold For A Lesser Price Due To This Reason?

Sister Wives’ Brown family sold their dream Vegas house for less than it was worth. This followed the university awarding a scholarship to Robyn’s son. As they expected to have many buyers, the deal ultimately didn’t price cut very well for them. Janelle told the cameras that she used to visit Vegas every weekend to see their home.

However, none showed interest in purchasing their beautiful house. Hence, they slashed the price three times to $575,000 to sell it quickly in 2019. Meri sold her property for $599,900 in earlier that year after cutting the price. Even though the family was suffering financial losses and facing difficulties, they splurged on an expensive Flagstaff that cost $890,000.

Sister Wives: Kody & Meri Share What Happened To The Money They Got From Selling Vegas House!

Meri and Kody disclosed new details about their Vegas home, but this time it’s about the money they made from selling it. In part two of the Tell-All of Sister Wives, the former couple appeared to have a real conversation with host Sukanya. According to Meri, the money they collected from the house was enough to cover Robyn’s home.

Yes, Robyn’s Flagstaff home used all the funds of the Vegas home. This pushed Meri to the brink of having nothing with her. She was somewhat deprived of the share she owed Kody in her legal divorce. In the Tell-All, she was accompanied by one of her friends, Jenn. Despite Meri footing the bills for the Vegas home, his name stayed on the document.

In his defense, Kody told Sukanya that he was entitled to 50% of the equity under the divorce order. Meri, on the other hand, claimed she didn’t fight with him on this. But Sukanya and Jenn asked her why he needed the equity, since Meri had lived in the house and paid the bills.

It immediately brought Meri to the sense who questioned herself. She is sure that Kody’s influence on Robyn is greater than anything, since she is submissive. He also influences her decisions. Taking away Meri’s money to put it into his own house was unfair to her. Even if he apologized later, fans aren’t convinced about his change.
