Why Sister Wives Fans Are Convinced Janelle Brown Is Leaving After 20 Seasons

While Sister Wives‘ Janelle Brown feels she and the rest of her family had something awesome, she’s found herself wanting anything else.
Three years after the 56-year-old announced the end of her nearly 30-year marriage to Kody Brown, fans have reason to believe she’s leaving their fame-making series as well.
“I used to think I’d ‘broken’ at certain points in my life,” the mom of six (she and Kody share Logan Brown, Madison Brush, Hunter Brown, Gabriel Brown, Savanah Brown and the late Garrison Brown) wrote in a Dec. 21 Instagram post. “Leaving the show… leaving a marriage… starting over at an age where everyone expects you to have it all figured out. I kept looking at the pieces and thinking something must be wrong with me.”
But now, continued the reality TV star, currently appearing in her 20th season of the TLC series with Kody, his current wife Robyn Brown and former sister wives Meri Brown and Christine Brown, “Standing where I am, I can see it differently.”
“None of those moments were breaking points,” she continued. “They were shedding points. Old expectations. Old versions of myself. Old identities that were never really mine.”

The pre-Christmas missive was just the latest sign the North Carolina resident is ready to plant something new.
Reflecting on “how strange it is to have people ‘know’ your story without ever really knowing you,” Janelle wrote in a Dec. 19 post, “For so long I felt like I was running to catch up with the version of me the world created… the strong one, the steady one, the one who didn’t bend even when things were heavy.”

Currently in her fun on the farm era, Janelle is growing her Taeda Farms business with eldest daughter Madison.
“It’s nothing I ever pictured for myself, not even close,” Janelle admitted of her next chapter in a Dec. 22 post. “But now that I’m in it, it’s like my whole body finally said, ‘Oh… this is what we’ve needed.'”
Amid her split from Kody and the subsequent cross-country move from Arizona, she continued, “Life was so loud for so long and having this space—literally and emotionally—has made me see how much I’d been holding without even noticing.”
Added Janelle, “It’s funny how the place you never imagined becomes the place that puts you back together.”
The Sister Wives star had previously hinted to E! News that she was ready to sow something new.
“My daughter, son-in-law and I have purchased some land in North Carolina,” she detailed of Maddie and her husband Caleb Brush last October, “and you’ll see as we start to bring that to fruition. It’s been a lifelong dream of mine. And I think we’re going to be focused on flowers, because that brings lots of joy.”
