Pregnant Jana Duggar Reveals Her and Husband Stephen Wissmann’s Nebraska Fixer Upper Home
19 Kids and Counting alum Jana Duggar and husband Stephen Wissmann gave an inside look at the before and after of their newly renovated Nebraska home ahead of the birth of their first baby.
Jana Duggar is counting on her reno skills.
The Counting On alum documented the DIY improvements she and husband Stephen Wissmann made to their Nebraska home in an Oct. 14 YouTube video.
Jana—who announced she is pregnant with her and Stephen’s first baby in August—documented the renovations that included installing a fence and updating the garage, living room and kitchen.
After giving viewers, a first-hand look at her and Stephen’s handywork, Jana showed off the completed starter projects including their finished kitchen with updated appliances, a fully furnished living room with shelving, modern décor and furniture, and a pantry, with a brand-new paint job and door frame.
And fans couldn’t help but marvel over how they transformed their space.
“I love how this house became a home!!” one fan wrote in the comments. “Now I can’t wait to see the baby’s nursery!! May God continue to bless you guys,”
Another added, “You need your own “Home Improvement” show. Impressive skillset, Jana!”
Indeed, those fans have been along for the ride since Jana and Stephen moved to into the five-bedroom in his home state after purchasing it in an auction in 2023.
In fact, she previously teased how they were working together and alongside family to make it their dream home.

Indeed, Jana and Stephen have been working on building their family.
“We are so excited, January 2026 is going to come with a little bundle of joy joining our family,” Jana wrote on Instagram Aug. 18. “We’re counting down the days and eagerly looking forward to this thrilling new chapter in our lives!”
