Manon continued that she had met a woman named Dorian a few days ago and had devised a plan. She told him that she and the other woman would be business associates in the skincare industry. Anthony looked visibly confused by the statement. Manon admitted that she had been working on the house’s paperwork, but she was also working on the skincare brand with her associate. She quickly smiled and asked her husband whether it was good.
Anthony replied, “Yeah, that’s great.” He then asked her why it was such a big deal. Manon said that a few weeks ago, he asked her not to rush into things. But she added that they needed to invest money. A disappointed Anthony asked her how much and how soon. She said she and her associate met with an agency that could help them build a strong brand.
