đ±Sister Wives: Meri & Janelleâs Cold Response Completely SHUTS DOWN Kody â Heâs Left Frozen On Camera!

TLC: JANELLE, KODY & MERI
Sister Wives star Kody Brown appears to be hitting a wall when it comes to reconnecting with his ex-wives. The TLC patriarch recently tried to engage Meri and Janelle Brown in a friendly conversation, but things didnât go as planned. In a sneak peek from an upcoming episode, Kodyâs attempts at small talk reportedly fell flat, with both women giving him little more than one-word replies.
Sister Wives initially premiered back in 2010. Kody was married to Meri, Janelle, and Christine Brown. This was when he was courting Robyn, who legally joined the family that same year. After years of being in a polygamous relationship, Christine, Janelle, and Meri left Kody between 2021 and 2023. Are Meri and Janelle simply done with Kody for good? Keep reading to find out.
Sister Wives: Meri Brownâs âNice Girl Eraâ Comes To An End
Meri has been spiritually separated and is now officially done playing nice with her ex, Kody. In the previous episode, Meri traveled to New York City with her best friend, Jenn Sullivan. During the trip, Jenn encouraged the reality star to stand up for herself once and for all. The pair discussed Kodyâs controlling tendencies and how Meri has struggled to fully break free from them.
Jenn didnât hold back when she told Meri, âItâs time for you to end the nice girl era. Itâs not benefiting you, itâs only benefiting him.â The statement struck a chord with Meri, who admitted she often avoids confrontation because she doesnât want to come off as rude. However, Jenn made sure her friend got the message loud and clear. The duo even practiced âbitch lessons,â with Meri shouting, âYou donât control me!â and, in true dramatic fashion, âComb your hair, Kody!â
Sister Wives: Kody Had An Awkward Zoom Call With Meri & Janelle
In a recent Sister Wives clip shared exclusively by Us Weekly, Kody Brown tried to reconnect with his ex-wives Meri and Janelle over a Zoom call, but the interaction couldnât have been more uncomfortable. After greeting them with a casual âHey guys, howâs it going?â Kody received nothing but short replies. Both women responded with a simple âgood,â leaving the conversation at a standstill.

Attempting to break the ice, Kody asked if anything exciting had happened since their last discussion about selling the familyâs Coyote Pass property. The silence that followed spoke volumes. When he asked Meri about her bed and breakfast, she curtly replied, âItâs the same,â offering no further details. Janelle, too, kept things brief, saying everything was âgoodâ and avoiding further engagement.
Kody, visibly uncomfortable, tried to lighten the mood by joking about hearing funny jokes from kids. But Janelle wasnât playing along. âMine are younger,â she replied dryly, referring to her grandchildren. Meri, meanwhile, sipped her drink silently, clearly uninterested in small talk. After the call, Kody admitted he couldnât understand what had changed since he helped Meri move to Utah.
âItâs gotten weird,â he said in his confessional. Meri, however, had her own perspective; she shared that she had set âhard boundariesâ with her ex and wasnât interested in pretending things were normal anymore. For viewers, itâs clear that the ice between Kody and his ex-wives isnât melting anytime soon.
