Kody Brown, known for his antics on Sister Wives, is showing fans a new side of himself through Special Forces: Worldâs Toughest Test. In the episode airing Thursday, October 23, the 57-year-old TLC star revealed that his motivation comes from his own interpretation of âmasculinity.â
âI donât consider myself a great leader,â Kody admitted as he worked alongside costar Gia Giudice, struggling to lift heavy equipment. âBut good quality manhood, masculinity, is taking responsibility for the job that needs to be done and doing it.â The Sister Wives star explained that his time on the Fox competition series, which pushes celebrities through real military-style training, has been life-affirming. âYou accomplish a difficult task with other people,â Kody said. Moreover, he added, âAnd thereâs a camaraderie you develop for it,â he told People on October 23, 2025.

He shared a piece of advice from veteran, Rudy Reyes: âWhat are you doing that you should not be doing, and what should you be doing that you are not doing?â Kody also mentioned that he was grateful for Robynâs support. When he decided to participate in the reality show, despite Robyn suggesting that they discuss the topic later, Kody knew he would go ahead with the training regardless.
