đ Carlin Bates Stewartâs Tearful Announcement â The Heartbreaking News No Bringing Up Bates Fan Expected đ˘

Former Bringing Up Bates star Carlin Bates Stewart is catching heat on social media after posting a video of her infant daughter to TikTok that many fans have deemed âdisturbing,â and âconcerning.â Â
As fans of the Bates family may know, Carlin and her husband, Evan Stewart, are parents to three children, including daughter Navy, whom the couple welcomed in September.Â
While Carlin and Evan are known to post a lot of content to social media that features their children, a particular TikTok that Carlin posted last week resulted in numerous people sounding off in the comment section and encouraging Carlin and Evan to better âprotectâ their kids from potential predators on social media.Â
In her controversial TikTok, Carlin told fans in the caption that she was âbringing an extra side of cuteness to Thanksgiving dinner this year.â The mom of three then encouraged fans to send the TikTok of her infant daughter âto someone who suffers from cute aggression.âÂ

âPOV you found the best rolls in the bakery,â Carlin wrote in the TikTok, which featured various clips of her comparing Navyâs legs, feet, hands and arms to assorted baked goods and even applying butter (literally) to the infantâs arm as it appeared alongside a plate of dinner rolls. The video concluded with a clip of Carlin spraying canned whipped topping onto her daughterâs bare belly before applying a raspberry on top.Â
Shortly after it was posted, Carlinâs TikTok began receiving comments from people calling the video (as well as Carlin and Evan) âweird,â with one accusing Carlin of posting the âperfect videoâ for certain âweirdosâ online. Â
âThis is exploitation, insane!â one person wrote. âWhy would you put this online for strangers?!!! This is not cute. There are child predators hello!âÂ

Another individual mentioned the fact that, despite the Bates family being known for having strict rules against girls wearing pants and couples kissing before marriage, âthey do very little to protect their kids online.âÂ

Similarly, many took to the comments stressing the large number of TikTok users who had âsavedâ or viewed Carlinâs video, as well as the fact that Carlin had yet to remove it from the platform, despite the amount of criticism it had received.Â
âOver 7000 people saved this and over a million watched. Itâs scary,â one person wrote, with another adding, âThe amount of savesâŚ. And yâall still have the video up smh.âÂ

While there were a few comments from people attempting to give Carlin the benefit of the doubt, most of them still took a moment to explain to Carlin why her video was in poor taste.Â
â ⌠I know that your intentions are completely innocent, but please be careful on here bc there are some absolutely evil creeps on here,â a fan told Carlin, with another adding, âI agree. The Internet is a dangerous place full of not-so-innocent-minded people.âÂ
âPlease delete girl, the saves are scary, I know itâs just a cute video, but the world is such a scary place,â another concerned follower commented.Â
âIf yâall are gonna post your babies at least leave the saves OFF,â insisted another. âI mean come on letâs be a little proactive on the Internet.âÂ

Despite the few who suggested that Carlin had posted the video without realizing how it may be perceived, others argued that Carlin and Evan werenât concerned about the TikTokâ or any of their âfamily influencerâ contentâ being seen by the wrong people.Â
âYeah they donât care unfortunately bc it makes them money,â one person wrote, with another insisting, âThey know exactly what they are doing and itâs SICK.âÂ
As of press time, the TikTok remains on Carlinâs page, as well as on her public Instagram page, where she had also posted the video last week. You can watch it below.
Neither Carlin nor Evan have responded to the backlash.Â
